Theres a 4th grade classroom in Sidney that thinks its pretty lucky.
All the students say their teacher is the best.
And almost all of them nominated her for Educator of the Week.
"I want you to try lighting the circuits from page 6."
Mrs Lori Fisher has been helping to shape little minds for 22 years.
She says the trick is getting the kids excited about what's going on in class.
She says "If you can get them excited about learning in 4th grade that will grow as they have other experiences, if they learn how to learn in 4th grade and beyond they're just gonna be great in life."
So she uses projects to keep the kids involved.
Right now they're making electricity with a simple circuit.
"Its something that we can do that's not boring really and when we like need help doing it she just explains it again." says Taylor Bock, one of the students who nominated Mrs. Fisher.
We got a record number of nomination letters they all came in this package. 13 students think Mrs. Fisher deserves to be recognized.
And some of those letters came from her former students.
They come to visit Mrs. Fisher on their free time.
One former student, Joseph Wikoff says "I miss 4th grade because it was fun with Mrs. Fisher because she played a lot of games in spelling and stuff."
"Doing a lot of hands on really helps to bring it to life, they kids love it they get excited about it." says Mrs. Fisher
Getting kids excited about learning isn't always easy.
"Does she make you want to learn? Yeah she really does like in 3rd grade I really didn't like school that much. Now that I'm in 4th grade its really easy and fun." Proof.... That students love learning when they love their teacher.
