(WBNG Binghamton) Kristina Martemucci, General Manager and personal trainer at Riverwalk Athletic Club, shares ways to trim the inner thighs.
The question was sent in by a Get Fit viewer.
While it is not possible to "spot" reduce weight, Martemucci said there are exercises to help tone certain muscles to help.
The first example is a wide legged squat requires the legs to be wider than the shoulders. It can be done as a regular squat, with all the weight in the heels and sending hips backward.
While this exercise can be done with just body weight, it can also get turned up a notch by adding additional weights.
The second exercise is the single-leg lateral lunge. It requires alternating legs and stepping to the side. It isolates each leg to work the inner thigh.
