The pro Mike Duell is going to lead us around here and Mike I've played here a few times before and I know there's a right way to play this whole and the way that I normally play.. I normally pulled driver here and try to get out of all the trouble that's probably not the correct way to do it.

"Well that depends on how far you're going to hit it off the tee," says Mike. "This hole demands more of a straight shot the longshot. You are looking at 250 yards to 270 yards that you're looking to hit off the tee. The main focus is to keep it between the trees here"

Mike I believe what they call this is jail right here. Really no hope here ...and this is the danger of hitting it off the tee.

"It's a very tight hole it's the tightest on the course and unfortunately it's the opening hole for most players," says Mike. "You'll find a lot of shots down here left or right. You're in a very difficult position here, the water is in your way. Really the only option is to chip out"

All right Mike this is where I should have been in the first place. Why have left here obviously we have the water on the left.

" Here you're looking at about 90 yards to the green with a downhill lie. Just a little wedge shot to get back in play and see if you get it up-and-down"

How bout that Mike. That's really what I can do it here it's not a straight par it's a scramble par on number one for most of the guys maybe not the pros.

"Most players don't hit the green and regulation. You had a wonderful wedge shot to 6 feet and you made the putt. You take four here any day."
