Nike is recalling these football helmet chin straps.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports the plastic cup can break on contact.

That could leave the face or head exposed to possible injury.

The chin straps were sold in youth and adult sizes from April 2006 through October 2007.

The model numbers under recall are FA0016 046, FA0016 130, FA0021 046, FA0021 130

Stop using the chin straps.

NIKE will provide a voucher for a new product.
