Kids pencil holders carry too much lead.

Parents should remove Children's Pencil Pouches from school supplies.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says zipper pulls contain high levels of lead, which can be toxic in young children.

They were sold under the names "Stuff Keepers" and "Bear Pencil Pouches" from September 1997 through October 2007.

For a refund, return the pouches to the store.
