Wegman's Recalls Bottled Water

Wegman's is recalling some bottled water, after finding high levels of a chemical in the product.

The recall is for Wegman's "Food You Feel Good About" spring water.

It has a use-by date of August 8th 2008.

The bottles contain a high level of bromate.

The EPA says bromate could lead to a higher risk of cancer, but only after years of drinking it.

The company would not say exactly how many bottles are affected.

But the recall affects 71 stores in five states, including New York and Pennsylvania.
