The handle on Copco tea kettles can come loose, posing a risk of burns.
They were sold under the brand names Copco and Wild Leaf Tea Company.
The models are Bristol and Martha Stewart Collection Enameled Steal Tea Kettles.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says there have been handful of reports of loose or deformed handles.
The kettles were sold a national retailers like Macy's and Linens 'n Things from October 2005 through last January.
