5 Star Apparel of New York is recalling Mecca Children's Hooded Jackets.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the drawstrings through the hood pose a strangulation hazard.

Both boys and girls models are included in the recall.

The Mecca jackets were sold at Burlington Coat Factory and other retailers from April 2008 through December of 2009.

Remove the drawstrings from the hood or return for a full refund.
