Conair is recalling Babyliss Pro 052 Series Professional Compact Hair Dryer.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the spinning fan can break apart.
It can strike and shatter the hair dryer's plastic shell.
That poses a risk of cuts for the user.
The recall includes the Babyliss Mighty Mini, Nano Titanium, Porcelain Ceramic and Tourmaline models.
They were sold from January, 2006 to April, 2010.
