(WBNG Binghamton) Pottery Barn is recalling lamps sold at its stores, through catalogs and online.
They are the Clay Task Lamp, Montgomery Task Lamp, and Montgomery Floor Lamp.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the electrical wire can be pinched or severed.
The problem poses a risk of electric shock.
The Clay and Montgomery lamps under recall were sold from July 2009 through August 2010.
Unplug the lamps and contact Pottery Barn for instructions on how to return for a refund.
