Recall Of Dehumidifiers Re-Announced

(WBNG Binghamton) LG Electronics has announced the recall of almost 100 thousand Portable dehumidifiers.

L-G Electronics originally recalled the 30 pint dehumidifiers in December of last year.

The power the the compressor can short circuit and cause a fire or burn hazard.

Since the original recall, 4 additional fires have been blamed on the dehumidifiers.

The units were sold at Wal-mart and other major retailers.

You should stop using it, and return it to an L-G licensed repair shop for a free repair.
