(WBNG Binghamton) A Massachusetts company announced the recall of about 4,000 pounds of soups on Wednesday.
The soups were sold in New York and Pennsylvania stores and could contain pieces of plastic.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture said the company, Blount Fine Foods, sold their soups at Wegmans Grocery Stores across the Northeast.
The soups are said to contain pieces of translucent plastic that are similar to the cups they are sold in.
The recalled soups include Wegmans Bisque, Wegmans Gazpacho, Chicken & Dumpling, Italian Style Wedding with Meatballs, Tomato Basil with Orzo, Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Soup, Caribbean Black Bean, and Wegmans Gazpacho.
All products may be returned for a full refund.
