Flammable Robes

By WBNG News

6 people have died wearing robes that catch fire.

The Blair company is recalling full length Women's Chenille Robes.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the robes don't meet flammability standards.

Most of the victims were cooking at the time their robes caught fire.

Some were elderly, in their 80's.

Blair sold the robes through its catalog, website and at retail stores in Pennsylvania and Delaware between January of 2003 and March 2009.

Recalled robes have one of these item numbers on the neck tag 3093111, 30931112, 30931113, 30931114, 30931115 and 30931116.

Stop wearing the robe and contact Blair for a refund and a $50 gift card at 877-392-7095 or visit the website www.blair.com.
