Sevaca is recalling its Sevylor Tow Behinds with Quick Hitch Connectors.

The Quick Hitch connects the towable to the boat.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the Quick Hitch can break and project pieces of plastic.

The pieces could strike and seriously injure a person.

The Sevylor Tow Behinds under recall were sold from January 2005 into 2009.

Contact the Sevca Company for instructions on how to remove the Quick Hitch and use the towable without it.

You will also get a free tow rope for returning the Quick Hitch.
