ACA Remembers, Two Years Later

April 2, 2011 Updated Apr 3, 2011 at 11:54 AM EDT

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Sunday marks two years since the tragedy at the American Civic Association.

Thirteen people were shot and killed and the gunman killed himself on April 3, 2009.

Those who made it out, and their loved ones, will remember those they lost.

A quiet and reflective ceremony will take place at 1:00 P.M. in front of the ACA on Front Street.

A permanent memorial to the victims is still being planned not far from the ACA at the corner of Clinton and Front Streets.

The committee is still seeking donations as work is scheduled to begin this summer.
