ACA Shooting Memorial

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Three years ago on April 3rd, 13 people were killed when a gunman opened fire at the American Civic Association on Front Street in Binghamton.

On Tuesday, April 3rd, at 10:30 a.m., the public is invited to attend a memorial ceremony in observance of the 3rd anniversary of the ACA tragedy.

It will take place at the ACA on Front Street.

On April 3rd, 2009 - 13 people were shot and killed inside the ACA.

The gunman, Jiverly Wong,41, then killed himself.

Wong was wearing body armor and carried two hand guns, he fired 98 rounds in one minute.

41 people were rescued from the building and 4 victims survived the shooting.
