Newark Valley, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police were involved in a standoff on Wilson Creek Road in Newark Valley on Sunday.

New York State Police and Tioga County Sheriff's Office were called out to the scene around 8:15 p.m.

They asked everyone on Wilson Creek Road to stay in their homes during the incident.

The activity was focused on 2980 Wilson Creek Road.
