Armed Robbery At Binghamton Bank

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police respond to a bank on Binghamton's West Side, after reports of an armed robbery.

Initial 911 traffic indicated a black male entered the bank wearing a mask.

Action News spoke to a witness who said the man displayed a weapon, possibly a 9-millimeter handgun.

Early reports say he jumped a fence, and was last seen on foot, headed toward Bellevue Avenue.

He may have been seen in the area of Helen and Schubert Streets on the city's West Side.

This man was wearing a white t-shirt, with a dark sweatshirt over.
