Towanda, PA (WBNG Binghamton) The man accused of murdering a Sayre couple will soon be arraigned.

73 year-old John DeSisti appeared in Bradford County court this morning.

His cousin, Carol Keeffe, and her husband David were found dead at their home in 2006.

The case went cold for several years until DeSisti's arrest in December.

One more witness testified in the pre-trial hearing.

Forensic pathologist Dr. Samuel Land testified on the autopsy findings of the Keefe's.

He said the reports indicate two gunshot wounds to both Carol and David.

Each could have been independently fatal.

The prosecution said evidence of bloody footprints at the scene matched Desisti's boots, and shell casings at the scene were similar to ones found in DeSisti's hunting vest.

Prosecutors say that was enough evidence to move forward.

Nineteen people in total took the witness stand in the hearing.

An arraignment date has now been set for March 14.

DeSisti remains in Bradford County Correctional Facility.
