Athens Twp, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Pennsylvania State Police arrest John DeSisti, 73, of Waverly.

Troopers say DeSisti is charged with killing Carol Keeffe, 60 and David Keeffe, 56 in November of 2006.

He now faces 2 counts of murder and 1 count of burglary.

If you remember, the couple was found dead by their daughter at their home in Athens Township, gunned down with a shotgun in their garage.

Their home sits on a wooded property at the end of a private driveway.

David Keeffe was a well known attorney in the Twin Tiers.

His family law firm, called DeSisti and Keeffe, practiced in both New York and Pennsylvania.

DeSisti is the first cousin of Carol Keeffe.

Police are saying DeSisti murdered the Keeffes over a long-running land dispute.

They say DeSisti ambushed the couple in their garage after they returned home.

Today, the grand jury made the recommendation to arrest DeSisti after hearing testimony in the case over the months since March of 2009.

He was arraigned at Pennsylvania State Police Barracks in Towanda, and sent straight to Bradford County Correctional Facility with no bail.
