Ashley Carnevale Sentenced In Connection With Shooting Death

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Kirwood woman convicted of murder last December was sentenced in Broome County Court.

Ashley Carnevale, 22, and her husband, Anthony, forced their way into Ethan Button's Windsor home in January 2009 looking for prescription drugs.

Jean Clark, 39, of Pennsylvania was shot and killed during the home invasion.

Button was shot in the back.

Ashley was sentenced to fifteen years to life on the Second Degree Murder conviction, fifteen years in prison and five years probation on the Attempted Robbery and Attempted Assault convictions and seven years prison with three years probation on the 2nd Degree Assault
conviction.

The sentences will be served at the same time.

Her husband, 22 year old Anthony Carnevale pleaded guilty in October of 2009 to second degree murder and attempted murder.

He is currently serving 25 years to life in prison.
