Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton University brought a taste of campus to center court of the Oakdale Mall.

Fifty groups showed the community what they can enjoy from the university.

Binghamton University had tables that offered information on everything from basketball games to an institute for Chinese opera.

The Masti dance group performed a selection of Indian dances.

The Director of Research Advancement said the mall is a great place to reach out to a variety of people.

"It's a really tremendous positive experience for people from the community to say you know, I had no idea this was right in my own back yard," said Rachel Coker, director at Binghamton University.

Nearly 400 volunteers participated in putting the event together.

This is the fourth year BU has held the event at the mall.
