Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Halloween is almost two weeks away, but some have already gotten in the spirit at the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park. For the past three weekends, the zoo has hosted its annual Howl-O-Weekends.
During the past three Saturdays and Sundays of October, a sea of pumpkins and Halloween decorations have filled the zoo. Families and children have enjoyed not only the animals, but pumpkin bowling, spooky storytelling, apple bobbing, and costume contests.
While Sunday was the last day of the zoo's Howl-O-Weekends, they still have another Halloween event planned for next weekend. Boo at the Zoo will take place on October 25 and October 26, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will be a haunted zoo experience, and unlike Howl-O-Weekends, it's geared toward older guests and not recommended for those under 10 years old.
