Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Music pulsed through the air in downtown Binghamton Sunday.

Thousands gathered for the 12th annual Blues on the Bridge.

"Our kids love music, they love to dance, they love to just have a good time," Victoria Reynolds said. "So we all get to come out as a family and just have a great time all together and absolutely no worries about anything."

Local vendors and bands provided hours of entertainment on the Washington Street Bridge.

The founder of the event said the crowd grows every year.

"There are thousands of people here and they're going crazy, the weather is perfect. As you can tell, people love it. It's building up and getting bigger."

A total of 13 bands performed and the Edward P. Maloney Memorial Pipe Band kept the crowd entertained between sets.
