Town of Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An autopsy has been completed after a dead body was found floating in a pond in the Town of Binghamton Friday, yet many questions still remain.

Forensic Pathologist Dr. James Terzian tells Action News so far he has found no evidence of foul play.

He says the cause of death is still undetermined until toxicology reports and other information is completed, but does believe the cause of death at this point to be drowning.

The man was found floating 20 feet from shore in a pond at Aqua Terra Park.

The discovery was made by a man, woman and young girl looking to do some fishing.

Deputies are still trying to identify the body.

He is described as white between 5'8 and 5'10 in height with a Bull Dog tattoo on his right shoulder.

They say he has black hair with a military-style crew cut and was wearing dark mesh shorts.

A pair of black New Balance sneakers were found along the shore but investigators are unsure of if they belong to the victim.

Deputies are still asking for your help.

Anyone who may know the victim or have information should call their tip line at (607) 778-1196.
