Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) One of Mom's House's most successful fundraisers is a home-cooked breakfast and a visit from Santa.

There's holiday music, baked goods to take home, and the chance to have a picture taken with Santa himself.

Breakfast is prepared by Endwell United Methodist Church and all proceeds go to enable low-income, single parents to finish their education.

"I can't thank the community enough for all of the support, they helped get us through the flood and we're in our newly renovated building where everything is going well, we're just so grateful for all the support of the community," said Diane Avery, Manager of Mom's House.

Those attending took it upon themselves to dress with the holiday spirit.

"Everyone has a big smile on their face, wishing everyone a merry Christmas or happy holidays and it's just a wonderful time and they've become our friends. They're our supporters but our friends also," said Avery.

Avery says this community gathering is a way to say thank you to everyone who supports their mission.

Mom's House in Endicott has been operating since 1988.
