Buyouts Announced in Johnson City

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Nine homes in Johnson City severely damaged by the September 2011 flood are being bought out as part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's buyout program, according to a press release issued by Mayor Greg Deemie.

This comes after announcements in the Town of Union and Vestal, which impact more than 200 homeowners combined.

FEMA will be covering 75 percent of costs.
