Franklin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A teenage girl is hit by a car in Delaware County earlier this week.
Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies say Joan McDonald, 46, was driving down Main Street in Franklin on Monday when she hit Severia Arend, 17.
Investigators say the girl was running across the street - without looking for traffic.
That's when she was hit and thrown into the air and hit another girl when she landed.
Both girls were taken by ambulance to Fox Hospital.
No tickets were issued.
