Town of Windsor, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A girl is dead after being hit by a car backing into the driveway of a home in Windsor.
According to New York State Police, the driver was the girl's babysitter.
Police said Brenda S. Hadlick, 37, of Windsor, struck Kenzee Wheeler, 4, also of Windsor, at Hadlick's home along Mountain Road.
Emergency responders were called to the residence a short time after 8 a.m. Thursday.
Wheeler was airlifted to Wilson Memorial Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries, according to state police.
The investigation is continuing.
