Dryden man arrested on child pornography charges

Dryden, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police arrested a Dryden man on charges of manufacturing child pornography.

Paul A. Mangum Sr., 67, was arrested after an investigation by New York State Police in Ithaca, the State Police Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the United State Secret Service.

Police charged Mangum with one count of sexual abuse, one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child and one count possessing a sexual performance by a child.

Investigators said Magnum manufactured child pornography.

A judge arraigned Mangum in the Town of Dryden Court and police took him to Tompkins County Jail on $100,000 cash bail.
