Endicott woman charged with three felonies

(WBNG Binghamton) The Broome County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division arrested Tammi-Lynn Meek, 45, of of Endicott.

Meek is accused of collecting more than $4,000 in workers compensation benefits after filing a false claim about her injury. The Sheriff's Office says Meek also provided a false statement as part of her workers compensation claim.

She is charged with three felonies including grand larceny, fradulent practices under the workers compensation law and offering a false instrument for filing.

Meek was taken into custody in the Town of Dickinson on April 23, 2013. She was arraigned in the Town of Union Court and released pending further court action.

The arrest was made by Detective James P. Broderick.

The New York State Workers Compensation Board Office of the Fraud Inspector General assisted in the investigation.
