Sanford, NY (WBNG Binghamton) One person killed, and another injured. That's the result of a crash that happened Wednesday afternoon in the Town of Sanford, according to New York State Police.
A section of State Route 41 in Chenango County was shut down where two vehicles collided, resulting in one person's death.
It's unknown how many people were involved in the crash at this time.
State Police did say that one other person was injured, and that the coroner would be investigating the scene.
The wreckage was to be removed by a Deposit towing company so the road could be reopened.
