Five Arrested In Prostitution Sting

Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task force arrested five people after a sweep of three Asian Massage Parlors in the Greater Binghamton area.

At Oriental Body Works located at 3600 George F. Highway in the Town of Union, they arrested Hui Wu, 53, and charged her with Prostitution.

The S.I.U. also served a warrant at the Sakura Spa at 675 Main Street in the Town of Union and the Rainbow Spa located at 1425 Upper Front Street in the Town of Chenango.

At Sakura Spa, officers arrested GuiQin Du, 46, and charged her with prostitution.

Also arrested was Chun Lung Wang, 59, charged with Criminal Possession of a weapon, Criminal Nuisance, and Illegal Alien status.

Investigators say he was controlling the illegal activities within the Sakura Spa.

At the Rainbow Spa at 1435 Upper Front Street, Jin Chunzi, 50, and Mingyu Zhang, 43, were charged with Illegal Alien Status.

Wang, Du and Wu were arraigned in the Town of Union Court and sent to the Broome County Jail on $2,000 bail.

A detainer warrant was also placed on Wang by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation proceedings.

Both Zhang and Chinzi were taken by members of Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation proceedings.

The investigation is continuing.
