Apalachin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) As of 11: 00 a.m. Wednesday, waters are already high in Apalachin. This is Pennsylvania Avenue just before 10 a.m. .

You can see water coming across the road and some drivers are daring enough to go through it, but that is not advised.

Some homes along Penn Ave are also flooding in the low-lying parts of the house.

We saw some people getting things out of garages worrying about the rising water.

One man we spoke with says at his particular location...The water hasn't been this high in a while, since 1972.

"It looked just like this. It went across Pennsylvania Avenue just like this. Same thing," Clifford Brown says he is worried about it happening again. "It already is," he says.

Cones were up across Pennsylvania Ave on the way to Little Meadows but drivers were still trying to get across.

The Campville Fire Department was also seen at this direction, bringing its water rescue boat in that direction.
