Former Agway Building Burns

Otego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Multiple fire departments fight a fire at a former Agway building in Otego.

Otsego County authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.

It happened Saturday night. According to the Otego Fire Department, it was the smaller of the three buildings on the property on Railroad Avenue that caught fire. It has been vacant for some time.

The fire was fully involved when crews got there. Fire crews worked to keep it from spreading to the larger and older buildings.

No injuries were reported.

Crews from Oneonta, Wells Bridge, Franklin, West Oneonta and Unadilla all helped in responding to the fire.
