Norwich, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A weekend fire at Fred's Inn is ruled accidental.
Norwich Fire Chief Tracy Chawgo said that grease buildup in the wall of the kitchen was sparked by the boiler. The fire went up the wall into the attic.
The fire started just before 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Fred's Inn opened in 1933 as Rocco's Inn and is currently owned by Armando Cirello.
