Home a 'total loss' after fire

Lisle, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Multiple crews were on scene most of Monday morning working to put out a house fire.

The fire at 2364 Whitney Point-Lisle Rd. broke out around midnight.

It was a second alarm fire.

Multiple fire crews responded including Lisle, Whitney Point, Killawog, Triangle and Marathon.

Crews finished putting the fire out at approximately 2:40 a.m. Monday.

Lisle fire officials said the house is a total loss.

The fire chief of the department said it started in a bedroom, but they're still looking into the exact cause.
