Gallup: Binghamton Residents Have Lowest City Optimism

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Would you say your city or town is getting better as a place to live?

Those in Binghamton let their answers be heard in a recent Gallup Poll.

One-hundred ninety metropolitan areas were part of a study to see who was the most optimistic about their surroundings.

The City of Provo, Utah came in first place, with more than 3 quarters of people saying their area was getting better.

At the bottom of the list: Binghamton, New York.

While 75% say they are satisfied with living here, only 28% of area residents say it is getting better.
