Some experts are predicting rising prices could go between $4 to $5 a gallon by summer.
That's just in time for summer travel plans.
"I'm a single mom with three kids and it's hard on everybody. Even with two sons, it hurts the pocket," says Town of Union Resident Elizabeth Feringa.
"It's ridiculous. People are out here making minimum wage and everything else and don't have enough to fill their cars up," Shane Cannon of Binghamton.
The last time we saw gas prices in the $4 range was in 2008.
A local gas station district manager says international tensions with Iran are to blame this time.
