Chenango, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A man is arrested after a routine traffic stop finds more than a dozen packets of heroin in his shoe.

Kevin Eck and Adam Mittl - both of Endicott - are facing charges after they were stopped by a Broome County Sheriff's Deputy on Front Street in the Town of Chenango.

That's when investigators found 15 packets of heroin in Eck's shoe.

The Sheriff's Office says the two men were staying at a motel in the Town of Chenango, where 40 more packets of heroin were found along with other drug paraphernalia and $1,015 in cash.

Eck and Mittl were arraigned in the Town of Chenango Court and taken to the Broome County Jail without bail.
