Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Home Depot is reopening its doors.

The store in the River Plaza is back in business for the first time in more than 2 months.

The store was one of many damaged businesses in the area from September's massive flood.

Preparations to getting a store ready to open usually takes 5 to 7 weeks, but the Home Depot crew set a record.

They got the store in show condition in just 21 days.

The store manager says that they're all ready for a great holiday shopping season, but getting to this point was far from easy.

"The staff of Home Depot kept the entire staff employed and from the day we could get back, with the help of our contractors, we just worked like crazy," says Store Manager, Richard Schoettler.

The store is fully stocked and is ready for Black Friday, the busiest shopping day for the store.

Home Depot is set to celebrate it's official grand opening on Wednesday, where there will be a board cutting ceremony.
