Hundreds attend free screening of 'Into The Storm'
Town of Dickinson (WBNG Binghamton) People in the Southern Tier are used to wild weather, and most of the time, it's witnessed safely indoors. But some lucky locals got the chance to see tornadoes, cyclones and massive storms on the big screen. Hundreds of people came out to the Regal Cinemas for a free screening of "Into the Storm," featuring Richard Armitage, Sarah Wayne Callies and Matt Walsh. This action-packed movie is told through the eyes and lenses of professional storm chasers to see how far they can take it to get a once-in-a-lifetime shot as a town is ravaged by storms in a single day. Many movie-goers were excited to see this movie. "From what I know it's about natural disaster and the impending terrible stuff that can happen with global warming and how the world might end. I don't know, but I haven't seen the movie. It looks pretty cool, good special effects so, I'm excited." said Marcy Nelson, of Greene. "Into the Storm" is out nationwide Friday August 8. The free screening was sponsored by Shortline Coach USA, along with WBNG & Binghamton CW. Along with the screening, Shortline Coach gave out free trips to New York City.
