Investigation leads to eight drug arrests (with photos)

(WBNG Binghamton) The Delaware County Sheriff's Office arrested eight people Friday on drug-related charges -- four for allegedly selling heroin and four for allegedly selling prescription drugs.

This comes after a five-month-long narcotics investigation in Delaware County's ongoing effort to remove narcotics from its communities.

Those arrested are:

- Miguel E. Santiago, 23, of Stamford, for two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, class B felonies;

- Gerard F. Johnson 30, of Walton, for three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, class B felonies, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor;

- Nancy M. Tomao, 45, of Sidney, for one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony;

- Jordan R. King, 20, of Unadilla, for one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony;

- Kim M. Chlad, 56, of Sherburne, for one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony;

- Sande A. Lower, 25, of Oneonta, for one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony;

- Mandi R. Stratton, 24, of Walton, for one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony;

- Jessica A. Woodcock, 26, of Walton, for one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

The arrests were made after a number of sealed indictment warrants were handed up by a Delaware County grand jury Friday.

The Sidney Village Police Department, Chenango County Sheriff's Office and New York State Police all assisted in making the arrests.
