Walton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A jury is seated in the trial of a Walton man, accused of stabbing another man to death in August.

Six men and eight women make up 12 jurors and two alternates.

They'll decide the fate of Lejuan Wainwright.

The then-20-year-old man was charged with second degree murder in August, accused of stabbing Tyler Warner, 20, outside this apartment on Mead Street.

A Delaware County grand jury later indicted Wainwright on a first degree manslaughter charge.

Shortly before the alleged stabbing, Wainwright was wanted for violating parole in Florida.

A spokesman from department previously told Action News the sunshine state turned down extradition from New York on that violation.

Meanwhile, Wainwright's trial for Warner's death was set to start this morning in Delaware County Court.

If he's found guilty, he may spend up to 25 years in state prison.
