Local high schools shatter differences

Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Vestal High School opens its doors to BInghamton High School through a student exchange program.

The program is put on by the student governments from both schools.

15 students were involved in the exchange.

The group hopes that by traveling to each school, they will not only appreciate what's offered at their own schools, but also appreciate what others have to offer.

One of the biggest differences the students noticed was size.

"Our goals are to break stereotypes and learn how similar the schools are even though we don't go to school together we are the same," Anna McCarthy said.

The group says they hope to continue the exchange every year as a way to close the gaps between the schools.
