Village of McGraw, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A man is in jail after allegedly assaulting a man in McGraw in the early morning hours of New Year's Day.
Duron Ruffin, 35, of McGraw is charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon and misdemeanor menacing charges.
Cortland County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for a domestic problem at an apartment complex on Church Street in the Village of McGraw.
Ruffin allegedly was arguing with an ex-girlfriend while holding a baseball bat. After an investigation, it was found that Ruffin allegedly assaulted a man in a second floor apartment.
Ruffin was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandville Court and is being held at the Cortland County Jail without bail.
He is scheduled to be back in court Wednesday as the case is still under investigations and more charge may be pending.
