Town of Maine, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Unadilla man is facing charges for shooting his gun close to homes while drunk.
Broome County Sheriff's Office said around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, Randolph Staats, 29, was drunk walking to Kolb Road in the Town of Maine shooting a 16-gauge shotgun into woods along the road.
Staats faces charges from the Sheriff's Office and Environmental Conservation Officers.
He's in Broome County Jail on $2,000 bail.
Charges:
- Reckless Endangerment
- Discharging a Firearm within 500 feet of a residence
- Discharging a Firearm from the roadway
