Man wanted in attempted drug store robbery

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton police are looking for a man they said attempted to rob a CVS store in Binghamton at knife point, but ran away without any money.

It happened Saturday around 6:35 p.m. at the CVS at 34 West State St.

This is the third robbery incident at a local pharmacy within a three-day period.

The Rite Aid Pharmacy on Robinson Street was robbed twice over the weekend, also at knife point.

The suspect in those robberies is described as white, in his 20s, standing approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. They say he has dark hair and sores or acne on his face.

The suspect in the CVS robbery is described as white with clear skin, in his 20s, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 175 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark sneakers. He was last seen in the area of the Country Town Apartments.
