Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Endicott man was arrested Tuesday after he called Child Protective Services on himself.

Thomas Colasanto, 41, claimed he had been providing marijuana “bongs” and alcohol to two minors over the past year, according to the Broome County Sheriff's Office.

Thomas said he called the CPS hotline to show the minors what would happen if they were caught smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol, according to deputies.

Deputies said after a further investigation, Thomas' claims were found to be true.

He was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and released.
