Man charged in fire at All-Star Auto

Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) On July 30, Vestal Police arrested a man related to the June 30 fire at All-Star Auto.

Christopher J. Stoudt, 32, of Towanda, is charged with arson in the third degree, burglary (third degree), grand larceny (third degree) and petty larceny (misdemeanor).

He's accused of breaking into the business office June 30 at All-Star Auto in Vestal, intentionally starting a fire and stealing a vehicle.

Stoudt was being held at the Bradford County Jail since that date.

He was arrested by Towanda Borough Police after a stolen vehicle was found at his home. The car's license plate was found to have been stolen from the neighborhood near All-Star Auto.

Stoudt was arrested by Towanda Police and charged with receiving stolen property, a felony.

He waived extradition and on July 31, and was returned to Vestal to be arraigned on the recent charges in Vestal Town Court.

Stoudt was then taken to the Broome County Jail.
